プライバシーポリシー
本ポリシーは、個人開発者である Alex（以下「開発者」）が提供する モバイルアプリ「漢字日和（KanjiBiyori）」（以下「本アプリ」）に おける、利用者情報の取り扱いについて定めるものです。 本アプリをご利用いただくことで、本ポリシーに同意したものとみなされます。
1. 開発者が収集する個人情報
重要 本アプリは、利用者の個人を特定できる情報（氏名、メールアドレス、 電話番号、位置情報、端末識別子、広告識別子等）を一切収集しません。
本アプリは完全にオフラインで動作する辞書アプリであり、利用者の 検索履歴・閲覧履歴・お気に入り等のデータは、すべて利用者の端末内に のみ保存されます。これらのデータが開発者または第三者のサーバーに 送信されることはありません。
2. 端末内に保存されるデータ
本アプリは、以下のデータを利用者の端末内ローカルストレージに保存します：
- お気に入り漢字・単語：利用者が「お気に入り」に追加した項目
- 閲覧履歴：直近に閲覧した漢字・検索語の履歴
- アプリ設定：テーマ（ライト／ダーク）等の表示設定
これらのデータは端末のアプリサンドボックス内に保存され、 アプリをアンインストールすると同時に削除されます。 開発者がこれらのデータを取得・閲覧することはできません。
3. 第三者サービスの利用
Google ML Kit Digital Ink Recognition
本アプリの「手書き入力」機能は、Google LLC が提供する ML Kit Digital Ink Recognition を利用しています。
- 初回起動時：手書き認識用の日本語モデル（約 24MB）を Google のサーバーから一度だけダウンロードします。ダウンロード後、 認識処理はすべて利用者の端末内で完結し、手書きデータが Google または開発者のサーバーに送信されることはありません。
- モデルダウンロードに伴う通信は、Google のプライバシーポリシーに従って 処理されます： https://policies.google.com/privacy
4. アクセス権限
本アプリは、以下を除き、いかなる端末権限も要求しません：
- インターネット通信権限：上記 ML Kit モデルの初回 ダウンロードのためのみに使用します。
カメラ、マイク、位置情報、連絡先、写真、ファイル等への アクセス権限は一切要求しません。
5. 広告について
本アプリは、運営費を賄うため Google AdMob （Google LLC 提供）を利用して、バナー広告、インタースティシャル広告、 およびアプリ起動時広告を表示する場合があります。
- AdMob は広告配信のため、広告識別子（Android Advertising ID／GAID、Apple IDFA）、端末情報、おおよその位置情報 （IP アドレスベース）等を取得・利用する場合があります。詳細は AdMob のプライバシーポリシーをご参照ください： https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
- EU／英国／スイス等の規制対象地域においては、初回起動時に Google ユーザーメッセージプラットフォーム（UMP）による同意ダイアログ を表示します。同意状況は端末内に保存され、いつでも変更可能です。
- 利用者は、Android／iOS 端末の設定から「広告のパーソナライズをオフ にする」「アプリトラッキング透明性（ATT）を拒否する」等の操作により、 パーソナライズ広告の配信を制限できます。
- 開発者自身が利用者の個人情報を広告主・データブローカー等に 販売することはありません。
6. アクセス解析・クラッシュ解析
本アプリは、品質改善および利用状況把握のため、以下の解析ツールを 利用する場合があります。
- Google Analytics for Firebase（Google LLC 提供）： 画面遷移、機能利用回数、利用継続率等の集計データの取得。 個人を特定できる情報（氏名、メールアドレス等）は収集されません。
- Firebase Crashlytics（Google LLC 提供）： アプリのクラッシュ発生時に、クラッシュスタックトレース、 端末モデル、OS バージョン等の技術情報を取得し、不具合修正に 活用します。

- 利用者は、Android／iOS 端末の設定から関連する追跡設定をオフに することで、データ送信を制限できます。
7. 子どものプライバシー
本アプリは、年齢に関係なく安全にご利用いただけるよう設計されており、 13 歳未満のお子様を含むあらゆる利用者から個人情報を収集することは ありません。
8. データセキュリティ
本アプリは個人情報を一切収集・送信しないため、データ漏洩による プライバシーリスクは構造上発生しません。端末内に保存される お気に入り・履歴データは、Android／iOS のアプリサンドボックス機構 によって他のアプリから保護されます。
9. オープンソースデータの出典
本アプリは以下の公開データを使用しています：
- JMdict（日英辞書データ）— EDRDG, Creative Commons BY-SA 4.0
- KANJIDIC2（漢字データ）— EDRDG, Creative Commons BY-SA 4.0
- KanjiVG（筆順 SVG データ）— Ulrich Apel, Creative Commons BY-SA 3.0
これらのデータは本アプリ内に同梱されており、利用者の操作によって 動的に取得されることはありません。
10. ポリシーの変更
本ポリシーは、法令の改正、機能の追加、第三者サービスの変更等に 応じて随時更新される場合があります。重要な変更が行われた場合、 アプリ内またはストアの更新情報にてお知らせします。継続的な利用を もって、変更後のポリシーに同意したものとみなされます。

Privacy Policy
This policy describes how KanjiBiyori ("the App"), provided by Alex ("the Developer") as an individual developer, handles user information. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this policy.
1. Personal Information We Collect
Important The App does not collect any personally identifiable information from users. This includes, but is not limited to: names, email addresses, phone numbers, location data, device identifiers, or advertising identifiers.
KanjiBiyori is a fully offline dictionary application. Any data generated through your use of the App — such as search history, viewing history, and favorites — is stored exclusively on your device. This data is never transmitted to the Developer's servers or to any third party.
2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The App stores the following data in your device's local app sandbox:
- Favorites: kanji and words you have added to your favorites list
- History: recently viewed kanji and search terms
- App Settings: display preferences such as theme (light/dark)
All of this data is automatically deleted when you uninstall the App. The Developer has no ability to access, view, or retrieve this data.
3. Third-Party Services
Google ML Kit Digital Ink Recognition
The App's handwriting input feature uses Google ML Kit Digital Ink Recognition, provided by Google LLC.
- On first launch: the App downloads a Japanese handwriting recognition model (approximately 24 MB) from Google's servers, one time only. After this initial download, all recognition is performed entirely on your device. Your handwriting data is never sent to Google's or the Developer's servers.
- Network traffic for this model download is governed by Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
4. Permissions
The App requests no device permissions other than the following:
- Internet access: required only for the one-time download of the ML Kit handwriting recognition model described above.
The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or files.
5. Advertising
To support development and operating costs, the App may display banner, interstitial, and app-open advertisements via Google AdMob (provided by Google LLC).
- AdMob may collect and use the advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / GAID, Apple IDFA), device information, and approximate location (IP-based) for ad delivery. See AdMob's privacy policy for details: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
- In regulated regions (EU / UK / Switzerland and similar jurisdictions), Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent dialog is shown on first launch. Consent state is stored on-device and can be changed at any time.
- Users can limit personalized advertising by adjusting their Android / iOS device settings (e.g., "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android, denying App Tracking Transparency on iOS).
- The Developer does not sell users' personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
6. Analytics and Crash Reporting
For quality improvement and usage understanding, the App may use the following tools.
- Google Analytics for Firebase (Google LLC): aggregate data on screen views, feature usage counts, and retention. No personally identifying information (name, email, etc.) is collected.
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC): when a crash occurs, technical information such as crash stack trace, device model, and OS version is collected to help diagnose and fix issues.

- Users can limit data transmission by disabling relevant tracking settings in their Android / iOS device settings.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is designed to be safe for users of all ages and does not collect personal information from any user, including children under 13.
8. Data Security
Because the App does not collect or transmit any personal information, there is no structural risk of data breach affecting your privacy. Locally stored favorites and history are protected by the Android / iOS app sandbox mechanism, which prevents other apps from accessing them.
9. Open Source Data Sources
The App uses the following publicly available datasets:
- JMdict (Japanese-English dictionary) — EDRDG, CC BY-SA 4.0
- KANJIDIC2 (kanji data) — EDRDG, CC BY-SA 4.0
- KanjiVG (stroke order SVG data) — Ulrich Apel, CC BY-SA 3.0
All of these datasets are bundled with the App at install time and are never dynamically fetched based on user actions.
10. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in law, added features, or changes to third-party services. Significant changes will be announced within the App or in the store update notes. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
